Located approximately an hour and a half south of Ocean City and an hour and a half north of Virginia Beach, Wachapreague is the perfect place for an affordable family vacation with options for exploration too. If you're looking for a place to watch space shuttle launches, Wachapreague is only about 45 minutes from Chincoteague and the launches can be seen as well as heard from our campground!
